Buddy Roemer argues for campaign finance reform in 'cookie cutter' GOP race.
Jennifer Granholm's favorite Republican visits 'The War Room' to make the case for campaign finance reform and an end to partisan politics. "This election is the worst I've ever seen," former Louisiana governor and presidential candidate Buddy Roemer says. "You know it's about the money … We need to have a timeout on the big checks and the partisan politics." His progressive take on the issues prompts Granholm to ask, "Buddy Roemer, why don't just declare yourself to be a Democrat?" Tune in Weeknights at 9:00/8:00c on Current TV current.com

@hatemorethanyou999 um… I read just fine, more government = left
Right= less government
Your saying they wanted more government and were right of Obama. What you mean is Obama is right of them. I wasn’t argueing with you so much as correcting your understanding of left and right. Clam down exclamation marks don’t make what you type any louder or clearer. I do disagree that our country has moved more right though, because we keep trying to get more and more government.
Hey Buddy! You make me proud to be from Louisiana!
@skinlesscougar Ronald Reagan quadrupled the deficit while doubling the military budget and massively increasing the size and scope of the drug war and prison population and police state–same with Bush 1. If you go look at the government as a percentage of GDP, you will find that Clinton reduced this–it is a statistical fact. And then we have Bush 2 and the patriot act and two wars and more massive deficits and the prescription bill, and the removal of our civil rights–sorry we have moved R.
Buddy Roemer the only adult Republican in the room.
Jesus was a socialist liberal. He wanted people to share the fished and the loafs and he was for helping people in need. Which is completely contrary to the republicans in the US that wants to remove public schools and defund programs that help the poor. But try to say that to a republican and they will go nuclear on you… Right wing Christian is an oxymoron as far as I’m concerned.
@sinlaael I feel the same.
@2Critical4You
That’s assuming he existed (which I’m still not sold on).
